FSCO Regular Business Hours: 

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


Its main reception area is located on the 17th floor.

Where is FSCO Located?

5160 Yonge Street is on the south-west corner of Yonge Street and Park Home Avenue, half way between Sheppard Avenue and Finch Avenue, in Toronto. It is just north of Mel Lastman Square.

By Subway

We are located at North York Centre station, on the Yonge-University-Spadina line.


Accessible directions:

  1. Exit North York Centre station and take the elevator from the platform to the station exit. 
  2. At the station exit, located underground, proceed through the doors to the Empress Walk building and take the elevators near the entrance of Loblaws to get to street level.
    Note: You may want to call the Empress Walk building at 416-910-4754 to make sure the elevator is working.
  3. At street level, you will need to exit the building and cross over to the northwest corner of Yonge Street and Park Home Avenue, where our offices are located in 5160 Yonge Street

Our offices are located along bus route 97 Yonge.

  • Travelling southbound, the exit stop is at Park Home.
  • Travelling northbound, exit at the Empress Walk stop. 

Accessibility:

Buses on this route are accessible.  Accessible buses can be identified by:

  • the blue international wheelchair symbol on the front side corner of the vehicle,
  • and by the blue lights on either side of the route destination sign above the windshield.

  • On southbound bus routes, the closest stop is Yonge & Park Home
  • On northbound bus routes, the closest stop is Yonge & Empress Walk

Parking

The entrance to the closest car park is located on the north side of the building on Park Home Avenue, west of Yonge Street. Disabled parking is available and elevators to our lobby are located on every level except P5. 


Parking rates are $3 per half hour up to a maximum of $14 for the day.

In Ontario, all employers who establish pension plans must register them with FSCO. The Pension Plans Branch provides support to the Superintendent in the administration of the Pension Benefits Act of Ontario and the regulations thereunder.

drs Automobile Insurance Dispute Resolution (DRS) Inquiries   

Dispute Resolution Services is the FSCO branch that helps claimants and insurance companies resolve disputes related to statutory accident benefits as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Its mandate is to provide timely, cost-effective and fair dispute resolution services for claimants and insurance companies. Services include mediation, arbitration, neutral evaluation, appeal, and variation and revocation.

mvac Motor Vehicle Accident Claims Fund (MVACF) Inquiries

The Motor Vehicle Accident Claims Fund is considered to be the "payer of last resort" as it provides compensation to people injured in automobile accidents when no automobile insurance exists to respond to the claim.
