Enforcement order

An order that is made regarding a licence holder reflects a situation at a particular point in time. The status of a licence holder can change. ORDER TO REVOKE LICENCE

On July 29, 2011, the Superintendent of Financial Services (“Superintendent”) issued a Notice of Proposal to Revoke the mortgage administrator licence of Lexxco Investment Services Corporation (“Lexxco”) (administrator licence #11751), pursuant to subsection 19(1) of the Act.

On August 9, 2011, Lexxco, through its principal Andre Lewis, requested a hearing before the Financial Services Tribunal (“Tribunal”). The hearing was adjourned on December 2, 2014.

On April 28, 2017, the Tribunal issued a Notice of Intention to Dismiss the hearing for Mr. Lewis’ failure to take any steps in the proceeding for an undue period.

On June 16, 2017, the Tribunal ordered that the proceeding be dismissed without a hearing. Pursuant to subsection 21(4) of the Act, the Superintendent makes the following order.

ORDER

The mortgage administrator licence of Lexxco Investment Services Corporation (administrator licence #11751) is hereby revoked.
