Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario

REGARDING the Mortgage Brokerages, Lenders and Administrators Act, 2006, S.O. 2006, c.29 (the “Act”), in particular sections 18, 19 and 21;

AND IN THE MATTER OF Maria Veronica Pastorino.



On September 14, 2018, the Superintendent of Financial Services (“Superintendent”) issued a Notice of Proposal to Revoke Licence to Maria Veronica Pastorino regarding her mortgage agent licence #M13001314 issued under the Act.

On October 26, 2018, Ms. Pastorino filed a request for hearing with the Financial Services Tribunal (the “Tribunal”)

On June 8, 2019, the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario assumed the regulatory duties of the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (the “Chief Executive Officer”) assumed the regulatory duties of the Superintendent, under the Act.

On April 12, 2019, Ms. Pastorino withdrew her request for hearing. On April 15, 2019, the Tribunal confirmed that the hearing was cancelled.


The mortgage agent licence #M13001314 issued to Maria Veronica Pastorino is hereby revoked.
