2017 Report - Ontario Pension Plan Filings of Statement of Investment Policies and Procedures Information Summaries

As of January 1, 2016, all Ontario registered pension plans are required to file their Statement of Investment Policies and Procedures (SIPPs) with the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO). Every SIPP must be filed with a SIPP Information Summary (Form 14) which sets out key policy parameters from each plan’s SIPP. FSCO gathers and aggregates information on industry investment practices through Form 14. By sharing this information with pension stakeholders and using it to monitor risk, FSCO supports its objective to protect the interests of plan beneficiaries.

FSCO has prepared the 2017 Report - Ontario Pension Plan Filings of Statement of Investment Policies and Procedures Information Summaries[PDF Document] Size: ## kb. The Report contains aggregate data on Form 14s filed by 6,300 Ontario pension plans between January 1, 2016 and July 31, 2016.
