Getting Information About Your Pension Plan

FSCO's Pension Plan Information Access provides the following information about most registered pension plans in Ontario:

  • the plan registration number;
  • the plan name;
  • the corporate name and address of the plan sponsor, plan administrator and pension fund holder;
  • the plan's effective date, fiscal year end, plan type, benefit type and total active membership of the plan;
  • the FSCO staff member assigned to the plan; and
  • information about selected plan transactions and filings.

Note that information related to individual pension plans, and plans with less than five active members is not available on Pension Plan Information Access due to privacy concerns. The web page also does not contain information about plans that are in process of being terminated.
