ORDER
ON or about 11th day of April, 2008 the Superintendent of Financial Services (“Superintendent”) issued a NOTICE OF PROPOSAL (the “Notice of Proposal”) wherein he proposed TO MAKE AN ORDER under section 69(1)(d) and section 69(1)(e) of the PBA that the Pension Plan For Employees Of American Re-insurance Company Registration Number 0582601, (the APlan@) be partially wound up in relation to those members and former members of the Plan who ceased to be employed by American Re-insurance Company during the period September 2002 until June 2005.
NO REQUEST FOR HEARING was delivered to the Financial Services Tribunal by the Employer and Administrator or any other person within the time set out in section 89(6) of the PBA.
For the Reasons set out in the Notice of Proposal, the Superintendent ORDERS that the Plan be partially wound up in relation to those members and former members of the Plan who ceased to be employed by American Re-insurance Company during the period September 2002 until June 2005.
