CONSENT
On or about April 24, 2007 the Superintendent of Financial Services caused to be served on Jim Pattison Entertainment Ltd. (Formerly Jim Pattison Industries Ltd.) a Notice of Proposal dated April 24, 2007 to consent, pursuant to section 78(1) of the PBA, to payment out of the Ripley’s Canada Pension Plan, Registration No.0387225, to Jim Pattison Entertainment Ltd., in the amount of $66,617 as at August 30, 1993, the date of the partial windup, plus investment earnings thereon to the date of payment and net of investment management fees and custody fees in the form of a transfer to the continuing portion of the Plan.
No Notice requiring a hearing was delivered to the Financial Services Tribunal by the Applicant or any other party within the time prescribed by section 89(6) of the PBA.
THE SUPERINTENDENT OF FINANCIAL SERVICES THEREFORE CONSENTS to the payment out of the Ripley’s Canada Pension Plan, Registration Number 0387225, to Jim Pattison Entertainment Ltd. in the amount of $66,617 as at August 30, 1993, the date of the partial windup, plus investment earnings thereon to the date of payment and net of investment management fees and custody fees in the form of a transfer to the continuing portion of the Plan.
