On July 1, 2008, the new Mortgage Brokerages, Lenders and Administrators Act, 2006 goes into full effect. On this date, all Mortgage Brokerages, Administrators, Brokers and Agents will need to be licensed with FSCO in order to conduct business in Ontario.
If you are interested in learning about the new Act's licensing process, FSCO recommends that you register for one of the following free information sessions. These sessions will be of primary interest to Mortgage Brokers, Brokerages and their administrative staff.
