To keep you protected, the Mortgage Brokerages, Lenders and Administrators Act, 2006 (the law) holds the mortgage brokering industry to tough standards.
The law requires all individuals and businesses who conduct mortgage brokering activities in Ontario to be licensed with the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO), the government agency responsible for overseeing the mortgage brokering industry in Ontario.
