0:07 Welcome to the Financial Services Commission of Ontario's (FSCO) Service Provider Annual Information Return (AIR) instructional video.
0:13 By law, all principal representatives of a licensed service provider are responsible for filing the AIR online and paying the annual regulatory fee by March 31 each year.
0:21 This applies even if you did not do any business in the previous calendar year.

0:57 From FSCO’s home page, visit the Service Providers section of the website.
1:05 Make sure you’re in the For Industry section.
1:10 Then go to Log In to your FSCO Account.
1:15 Log in by typing in your username, FSCO ID number, or email address, and enter your password.
1:31 If you have trouble with this step, you can use the recovery account prompts on the page.
1:38 If the email address you used to set up your FSCO Account is no longer valid, click on the link to contact FSCO for assistance.
1:46 Once you’re in your FSCO Account, you’ll be able to find the AIR on your dashboard.
1:53 Step 1 – complete your application.
2:01 Complete all of the questions.
2:14 You can always save your work and come back to where you left off.
2:22 Click on save as draft.
2:29 When you go back to your FSCO Account, look for the AIR in draft in your dashboard.
2:36 Step 2 – review and digitally sign the attestation.
2:42 Once you complete all of the questions, you must attest, as the principal representative, that the information provided in the AIR is true to the best of your knowledge.
2:49 You cannot make any changes to your AIR after you have digitally signed your attestation.
2:56 Make sure to review your answers before submitting your digital signature.
3:14 It is an offence under the Insurance Act to provide false information in the AIR.
3:21 Step 3 – pay your annual regulatory fee.
3:28 This is calculated based on the information you provided earlier in the AIR about your number of locations and number of SABS claimants.
3:35 The application will take you to a secure Ontario government site where you will pay your fee.
3:51 Step 4 – Application summary.
3:58 After you’ve completed the AIR and paid your fee, you can select view receipt and/or next.
4:05 Click next to visit the final page.
4:12 The final page will confirm submission of your AIR.
4:18 Please make sure to click on view application for a copy of your AIR.
4:30 Print or download a copy to keep for your records. You can also access this from your dashboard at any time.
4:34 You will also receive a confirmation in your FSCO Account.
