Service Providers holding a licence from FSCO on December 31, 2015 need to complete an AIR and pay the Annual Regulatory Fee by March 31, 2016.
As your Service Providers’ Principal Representative, you are responsible for filing the AIR and paying the Annual Regulatory Fee by March 31, 2016.
During the week of January 18, 2016, FSCO will provide a personalized weblink in your FSCO account. Use this weblink to complete the AIR electronically.
To prepare for filing the AIR, make sure that you:
- have a valid user name and password to log into your FSCO account,
- read the Frequently Asked Questions about the AIR, and
- review the AIR questions.
No business in 2015?
If you were holding a Service Provider licence from FSCO on December 31, 2015, but you did not do any business in 2015, you must still file the 2015 AIR.
If you do not submit the AIR and pay the Annual Regulatory fee by March 31, 2016, FSCO may impose administrative monetary penalties under sections 441.3 or 441.4 of the Insurance Act . FSCO may also suspend or revoke your Service Provider licence.
